Description

Uzima "Unmuted" is an eclectic album. It's program range includes a Gregorian Chant French Lesson ("Esmegma") to a Christmas Disco song to Satirical slam at "Ditto-heads". There are instrumentals with vocal found sounds that reflect new age, funk-folk, and experimental avant-garde politically-correct conscience-raising experiences that will send college radio into whole new vistas of that silly entertainment we've all come to know and love on non-commercial formats.

Artist Profile
Uzima is Peter Gullerud - both a visual and audio artist. Musically, he performs under the name Uzima, that includes his talents and feature artists that serve the purpose of the time. Peter has had a number of his albums available through CMC over the past years, and we understand that he's got a few hundred more in him. We presently have chosen to participate in the distribution of one representation, and, if the public calls, we will expand our horizons. His music is what we might consider, for lack of terms - adult, eclectic, found sounds. It's always thoughtful.
