From the Author
I had a chance to think about life for several years without distraction while I lived in a seminary and monastery. After leaving the religious life, I became a psychologist and worked for 35 years with individual people, couples and families to help them understand and face the challenges in their lives.
I am now retired and work full time writing. I write a biweekly newspaper column for The Daily News. I have written and published five books and also distribute a free newsletter. The focus of my writing has been how to understand life, its challenges and joys. My goal is to help people approach life in a mindful way so they can live life to the fullest to their benefit and to the benefit of those they encounter.
Commonsense Wisdom for Everyday Life and Navigating Life: Commonsense Reflections for the Voyage and both collections of my reflections on life. Young Man of the Cloth is a memoir of my seminary years as I formed my sense of what life was all about. The Pastor's Inferno is a novel about a priest coming to terms with his abuse and seeking redemption.
