Testimonials
Martina says, "I wrote my first song at age 9. Later, after many years of full time office work and evening college courses, I visited my family and gave an impromptu concert in the backyard. My father had tears in his eyes. My spiritual/music journey, tentatively begun, increased in intensity. When my father showed the symptoms of an inoperable brain tumor a few days later, I wrote, sang and sent music tapes to him. Before he lost his speech, he held my hand and asked me to promise to continue singing. I promised, and so, here I am."

Artist Profile
As a true baby boomer, Martina Laska grew up with all the classic folks music of the '50s and '60s. Deeply influenced by the beauty of nature and a desire to preserve it, she began writing songs at an early age. Ten years after the birth of her only child, she completed the Mountain Spirit album. These songs represent a lifetime of emotion and thought, especially concerning matters of the spirit. Martina says, "With maturity, I can now truly appreciate this gift of songwriting and performing. There is a great deal of responsibility attached to it -- it is not something to be taken lightly."
