Artist Profile
"I've been playing music for as long as I can remember. I've performed with local Peoria, IL bands such as "Helix", "Jhaptal" and "Rudy & The Rockets". I studied music at Western Illinois University and Berklee School of Music. I've been a percussionist with the Peoria Symphony Orchestra for 22 years (Principal Percussionist for 15 years) and have performed on stage with Itzhak Perlman, Bob Hope, Pearl Bailey, Dudley Moore, Connie Stevens and The Moody Blues, as a PSO member. I've been a public school band director for 22 years, 13 years as Director of Bands at Peoria High School.
