Artist Profile
Steve began his musical efforts as a self-taught guitarist at the age of 15, influenced at first by the music of Rush. He played in several bands, including Endpieces, a progressive rock band that met with modest local success in Southern Ontario. Eventually, his listening expanded towards the likes of Genesis, Steve Hackett, Renaissance and Mike Oldfield. Also having been inspired by the novels of Ayn Rand, Steve developed his own compositional style and when Endpieces disbanded, had the desire and the confidence to pursue a solo recording career. Over the next several years, he worked acquiring the tools and the ability to record his uniquely dramatic music.
