Description
THE HOFFMAN COLLECTIONS
Addresses the problem of teenage drunk driving.
Drunk driving has been a problem for teenagers since the invention of the automobile. Somehow kids don't get the idea that bad things can happen to them. This program does not show any graphic scenes of highway gore or any cops or lawyers. It does not lecture or preach. Instead it simply looks at the results of severe head injury on a group of young people. Some of them speak their minds to the camera. Some cannot. When young people see this, they not only learn the meaning of head trauma, but they also see how easy it is, through a single act of carelessness, to put themselves in this situation.
Sally 0'Connor- M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drunk Driving)

Thomas F. Koerner- Director: National Association of Secondary School Principals
