In Peoria, the name Wee Tee and miniature golf were synonymous. Wee Tee Golf Center
was founded in 1950 by Robert Bett. Mr. Bett was the inventor of the
automatic golf ball washer for driving ranges. Jim and Grace Noonan
bought the business from Bett and then it was bought by Bruce and Kelly
Mehl. OSF Healthcare has bought the site and a medical facility for
children will be built on the land that once brought joy to so many.
