Music for Relaxaton and Reflection
Produced by Nicholas Gunn and featuring his music alongside that of Cheryl Gunn, Mars Lasar and Loren Gold, SEEKING SERENITY follows through nicely on the promise of the title - you will find ample serenity on this release. The selections, which were culled from prior releases of the artists, utilize instruments like synthesizers, piano, flute and subtle percussion to generate an atmosphere that is positive and peaceful. It pretty much goes without saying that a yoga or massage session would benefit greatly from this album, yet paired with a recliner and a glass of wine it would be equally potent. Of special note are Mars Lasar's "Enchanted" and Cheryl Gunn's "Spellbound," both of which are particularly magical.
