This album, a sequel to the first "Electric City" album by the same name, is another solo effort, with the exception of drums performed live by Dane Clark. As with the original "Electric City," the song collection is varied, but based largely in jazz. The inclusion of live drums; however, gives the music a more dynamic lift that does a drum machine, however cleverly programmed. All the material is original, composed by Poley.

"Dedicated Lines" hasn't been professionally reviewed as of this writing; however, the first "Electric City" album was featured in Keyboard Magazine. Titus Levi wrote, "A vast array of sounds, programs and guitar textures... beautifully crafted compositions... hours of hard work have obviously paid off in making every moment of this piece a dazzling display of sounds."
