David Patrick began playing guitar at the age of six. High school and college brought many bands and guitar lessons. His technical degree in Industrial Technology has developed his 'left mind', and helped him as a handyman and innovator, though he can can also cook, and even sew! Around 1987 he studied guitar at Atlanta Institute of Music. He's a 6' tall mountain biker, he likes cultural events, and music ranging from Vivaldi to Dave Weckyl to Steve Vai. As a christian, he believes that music can paint an noninvasive portrait of life's events, with it's hopes and pains. Music is not totally his life, since there are many other things which bring inspiration and enjoyment.

Just before he moved to Nashville, TN in 1989, he went on a music tour to Helsinki, Finland, Stockholm, Sweden and Lenningrad, Russia. Later, back in Nashville, he pursued his music career interests and recorded an instrumental guitar cassette, and had some success. During the next ten years, he played a ton of weddings, and decided to record a rock guitar CD, "A Future and a Hope" ( jazz/rock electric guitar music), which also has a video within the CD. The year 1999 brought on the production of two more CDs, Light Through the Trees (jazz/classical acoustic guitar music), and Guitar Solo Collection (12 songs of guitar solo pieces, including classical, Christmas, hymns, and pop songs).

Artist Profile
Dave Patrick studied guitar at the Atlanta Institute of Music. In 1990, he made a custom cassette project to "pitch" to the music industry. With great enthusiasm, many demo packs were sent to well known Christian and Jazz labels. However, he soon discovered how the industry works. Often, the demo packs wound up in a mail basket in the A & R director's office! Finding this approach to be unproductive, Dave figured that it was time to put serious thought into his producing a high quality independent project.
Now, in 1999, Dave has completed his new custom CD, A Future and A Hope. He is playing locally in Nashville, using the same studio band members who played on the project. The band offers a collective background of jazz, rock, and classical styles, which brings an eclectic passion to their live concert sound.
Dave is a Christian who happens to be a musician. He wants to convey a message, and also play great instrumental music. In the industry, it is assumed that a song must have words to convey a message. Dave preludes his songs, integrating "short story" and "thirst quenching truth". The, the band plays each instrumental, painting a descriptive picture of his life experiences.
