Artist Profile
Color Theory proves that it is possible to create intensely human music with machines. The Southern California one-man band has been touching listeners since the 1994 release of Sketches In Grey. Despite the lack of mainstream national distribution or a single live performance, the first pressing of the CD sold out. Demand was high for a new album, and Color Theory responded with the 1997 release of Tuesday Song, which includes the daringly non-fiction song used for a real-life marriage proposal. A series of acoustic performances and a strong Internet presence has helped to build an international following that eagerly awaits the release of Perfect Tears.
