Artist Profile
Mick Byrd is a man of many talents. A very successful high school teacher and coach by day, nighttime finds Mick playing and singing his powerful, original music throughout the central United States. Mick has won a national songwriting award from Billboard Magazine and has also won the hearts of a loyal following who have come to deeply appreciate the joy, the laughter and the insight of Mick's live performances.
Mick and his life-partner, Debbie, own and operate their own record label - Time Out Records - and their own publishing company. Mick says, "Debbie is the business. I just play."
