By style, we may call this "Symphonic New Age Rock." Beginning where "Heroes Awaken" left off, this second offering by Steve Cochrane expands the sound palette to include tasteful acoustic and electric guitar styling, and even vocals on the title track. Where as "Heroes Awaken" looked inward to discover hidden potential, "To See It Made Real" seeks outward expression of the values of a "hero within" - integrity, self-reliance, persistent effort and a desire to see a better world. Sixty-five minutes of musical beauty and grandeur.

Artist Profile Born in Nova Scotia (1961), Steve began his musical efforts as s self-taught guitarist at the age of 15, influenced at first by the music of Rush. He played in several bands in the early 80's, including Endpieces, a progressive rock band that met with modest local success in South Central Ontario.
Eventually, his listening expanded toward the likes of Genesis, Steve Hackett, Renaissance and Mike Oldfield. Also having been inspired by the novels of Ayn Rand (The Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged), Steve had developed his own compositional style and a rare artistic vision; and when Endpieces disbanded, had the desire and the confidence to pursue a solo recording career.
Over the next several years, he worked toward acquiring the tools and the ability to record his unique style of dramatic music. "To See It Made Real" is the follow-up to his 1991 release, "Heroes Awaken".
